Navigating Scope 3 Emissions: Strategies, Obstacles and Opportunities across the Value Chain.

In today's world, where environmental responsibility is a growing concern, it is crucial to know how to deal with Scope 3 emissions. Within this context, the mining sector plays a pivotal role that can significantly influence global sustainability efforts.

The German Mining Network (GMN), supported by the German Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), stands for the eight Competence Centers for Mining and Raw Materials, located at several German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (AHKs) of countries rich in raw materials, as well as other strategic international and national partners, such as the German Mineral Resources Agency (DERA), the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK), Germany Trade and Invest (GTAI) and RWTH Aachen University.
